After years of making my own movies, paintings, and photographs, I discovered the narrative potential of capturing the most important day in one's life. The moment when two become one can never be staged or repeated, and requires the sharpest eye to capture that pivotal moment. The union that takes place in the ceremony is not just a one-time event on one special day, however, but it’s rather the culmination of a much longer story. That is what I want to show in my images--not only beautiful pictures for social media, but a living tapestry of you and your fiancée's whole journey, and the beginning of a new chapter.
